ZenHQ added sales to its operations in 2007 aimed exclusively at selling international titles directly to African buyers. In our first quarter we have bought and sold nine titles, including the $60 million film Dungeon Siege, based on the top selling video game.

The African market has long been ignored. However, a vibrant and viable industry and appetite exists, and sizable revenue is possible when applying the right strategies.

ZenHQ has created a sales structure, and has established associations with key buyers in Africa enabling it to sell films at prices and on terms that make sense to both buyer and seller. We understand our market and never try to force square pegs into round holes! This makes all the difference.

While feature films sell well under the structure, TV content by comparison generates lower sales figures. Based on this ZenHQ prefers long running internationally popular TV series – can you say Friends!

ZenHQ only acquires or represents titles with high production values, and with recognizable cast. We either buyout the African rights, or more simply act as sales agent representing titles for sellers and buyers.
